Karl Connor, Managing Director of Equestrian Ventures Limited started the Company in early 2007.

Having become a little disillusioned with Corporate life, Karl decided to go it alone continuing to work as an IT Project Manager on key projects for mainly large Blue-Chip Companies.

Going it alone gave Karl a greater freedom and allowed him to explore other ventures. Initially, the idea was to start an Equestrian Retail Website and get more involved in the Family Business but the wider sports & fitness market was more appealing from a business perspective and offered a broader spectrum of products. Karl decided to create a blog to give our Fitsense Sports customers more information about our products and services in one place but also to make the site a bit more personal. Many e-commerce sites are faceless and are just another mail order company. Karl wanted us to be different.
